Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola has urged the people of the State not to trade experience with experiment while choosing their next governor.
Fashola made this statement at an interactive meeting held at the Lagos Television, Agidingbi premises.
The governor said he could vouch for Mr. Ambode having worked with the APC candidate for six years, adding that the former Accountant General of the State is a worthy successor to him next year.
He described Peoples Democratic Party –PDP, candidate for the 2015 governorship election, Jimi Agbaje as ‘’inexperience, trial and error,’’ who would wobble and fumble with the fortunes of Lagos State.
In his speech, Ambode acknowledged Governor Fashola’s transformation of the State, saying that his election as the Goververnor’s successor would about taking Lagos to the next level.
Thousands of tradesmen, artisans and farmers from across the State joined the Governor to receive Ambode, who was accompanied by the party’s Vice-presidential candidate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
