FG Moves to Sack Unqualified Teachers












THE Federal Government has concluded arrangement to sack unqualified teachers in Primary and Secondary schools across the nation in order to maintain a good standard.

Minister of State for Education, Professor Anthony Anwuka, said the decision was part of efforts to reform the country’s education sector.

Anwuka said in Abuja on Sunday, that the teaching profession would no longer be treated as an all-comers affair.

He said the developmental strides of any nation was dependent on the quality of education given to pupils at the primary and secondary school levels.
