POLICE have dismissed claim that Bollywood superstar Sridevi Kapoor who died at the weekend passed after suffering a heart attack.
Dubai police announced Monday, that the 54-year-old was found drowned in her hotel bathtub.
Her brother-in-law, Sanjay, had previously said that she died of cardiac arrest.
The actress, who went by her first name alone, was described as India’s first female superstar. She made her film debut in “Thunaivan” at just 4 years old, but broke through in 1983’s “Himmatwala.”
Sridevi also had roles in some of the most famous Bollywood movies of the 1980s and ‘90s, including “Nagina,” “Mr. India” and “Gumrah.”
