Ramaphosa, African Leaders Call for “open borders”

SOUTH AFRICAN President Cyril Ramaphosa and other African leaders have called for “open borders” for free trade and movement for Africans.

 

While the rest of South Africa spent their Human Rights Day relaxing, Ramaphosa was in full work mode meeting with African leaders.

While attending a summit on the African Continental Free Trade Area, African nations came together in their numbers to sign two documents.

44 countries signed the African Continental Free Trade Area agreement in while 43 signed the Kigali Protocol committing to working towards the changes for free trade and movement.
