Turbulence Injures 35 Passengers on Australia Bound Air Canada Flight

ABOUT 35 of passengers were injured on an Air Canada flight on Thursday due to severe turbulence.

Flight AC33 was on its way from Canada to Australia when the incident described as “un-forecasted and sudden turbulence” happened.

Air Canada flight, which was traveling from Vancouver to Sydney, Australia, was diverted to Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

Report say that the Boeing 777-200 plane was about two hours past Hawaii when it hit “severe clear air” turbulence.

Of the 269 passengers on the flight, 35 “sustained minor injuries.”
