Aggrieved IPOB Members Physically Attack ex- Deputy Senate President, Ekweremadu in Germany

FORMER Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu was attacked by a group of disgruntled Nigerians in Germany on Saturday.

Separatist group, Indigenous People of Biafra –IPOB, has claimed responsibility for the attack Nürnberg, where the politician was a guest at the New Yam festival event.

The Igbo group shared a video of the moment on its Facebook page, Radio Biafra.

In the video, the Deputy President of the Senate in the 8th National Assembly is seen jumping into a waiting silver car after being physically harassed and pelted with various objects.

The Senator, representing Enugu West in the Senate was accused by some apparently aggrieved individuals over alleged conspiracy with the Federal Government to proscribe the IPOB in the South East and the killing of several of its followers.
