The Kogi State council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists –NUJ, has threatened to take the state to court if perpetrators of the N700 million West African Examinations Council -WAEC fees fraud were not prosecuted.
The union said that it was necessary for the state government to expose the people behind the fraud.
Addressing journalists on Wednesday, Chairman of the union, Ali Atabo, urged the state governor, Captain Idris Wada to take decisive action against officials of the state’s ministry of education who were involved in the crime.
