NIGERIA Tuesday announced recording 31 deaths, being the highest toll in a single day since the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
Tuesday’s shocking revelation by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control – NCDC, raised the number of deaths from 424 to 455 in 24 hours.
The NCDC also said that 490 new cases of the coronavirus have been recorded in Nigeria, bringing the number of confirmed cases in the country to 17,148.
According to NCDC, Lagos recorded 142 new cases, Federal Capital Territory – FCT 60, Bayelsa 54, Rivers 39, Delta 37.
Others are: Oyo 30, Kaduna 26, Imo 23, Enugu 19, Kwara 17, Gombe 11, Ondo 10, Bauchi eight, Ogun seven, Borno six and Benue one case.
