Organizers of Jabil Lake Mall Concert Face Prosecution

ORGANIZERS of the musical concert, which featured musician, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, at the Jabi Lake Mall on Saturday, will be prosecuted, authorities have said.

24/7INQUIRER.COM reports that the federal Government Monday, suspended Executive Jets Services Limited for flying Naira Marley to Abuja for the concert, citing breach of agreement.

On Tuesday, the FCT Minister, Mohammed Musa Bello vowed that his administration would ensure that everybody involved in orchestrating last weekend’s musical concert were prosecuted.

Bello who expressed displeasure over the concert, said that the organizers violated the social distancing protocols on the prevention of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the artiste in the middle of the controversial concert, Naira Marley, has lambasted the Chairman of Executive Jets Services Limited, Sam Iwuajoku, for describing his gang as “a bunch of useless people.”

In a letter of apology to the minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, the Chairman of Executive Jets Services, had made a comment, describing the passengers on his aircrafts as “a bunch of useless people.”

Apparently upset over Iwuajoku’s comment, Azeez Fashola (Naira Marley) took to social media to disclose that his entire team almost lost their lives flying on the aircraft.

He said on Twitter: “Thank God we didn’t crash on that flight because we nearly did.”

He also said he would instruct his fans not to use the airline.

“Do you know that over 20,000 Marlians travel with executive jets a month? We won’t be using your useless airline again for calling us useless.
