PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari’s silence over the ongoing intra party divisions in the ruling All Progressives Congress – APC, may destroy the legacy of the former military ruler. That’s the opinion of the Director-General of the Progressives Governors Forum, Salihu Lukman.
Calling out prominent members of the APC, including President Buhari, Senator Bola Tinubu, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu and Chief Bisi Akande, Lukman in a memo Thursday, wondered why the party was so disorganized.
The Director-General of the PGF described the APC asa party “gradually slipping into disintegration with a defective leadership.”
He added that all well-meaning members of the party needed to be ashamed of their selves as they all watch the unpalatable events unfold.
Although, Lukman talked about settling matters within the party legally, he however, recommended that a National Executive Committee meeting be convened, so all intra party fracas could be resolved.
He asked that all true leaders of the party stood up and be counted, adding that there was no excuse for APC not to save the Buhari administration from distraction.
