GOVERNOR Babajide Sanwo-Olu has promised to make arrangements for security agents to protect peaceful protesters in Lagos State from miscreants.

#EndSARS protesters who had gathered at entrance of the State House of Assembly in Alausa on Thursday were attacked by scores of hoodlums – some of them wielding machetes.

“My government will never tolerate the attack of protesters. Security agents will immediately protect peaceful protesters from miscreants,’’ Sanwo-Olu said as he condemned the attack on his twitter handle late Thursday.

The State Governor also dismissed reports that a vehicle, belonging to Lagos State was used to convey thugs, who allegedly attacked peaceful protesters.

“I have received reports involving a bus in our state bus service. Our buses will never be involved in such activities and I have instructed the state team to get to the root of it.
