PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari Friday met with the released students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, in Katsina State.
Earlier Friday, Personal Assistant to President Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, made the announcement in a tweet.
The schoolboys were accompanied by Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari and some top Federal and state government officials.
The President, who spoke with the boys in Hausa language, thanked everyone involved in their release of the students, particularly the military.
President Buhari met with the boys a day after they were released by their captors who abducted them from the Government Science Secondary School in Kankara.
Terrorists group, Boko Haram had claimed responsibility for the abduction.
However, government officials insisted that the group had no connection with the abduction of the schoolboys.
