Ghana Police Storm FM Station, Arrest Journalists After Filming National Security Restricted Area

GHANA authorities have arrested a journalist for filming a restricted area at one of the country’s Ministry headquarters.

Caleb Kudah was arrested Tuesday afternoon by the National Security after filming and sending images of an area he recorded at the Ministry of National Security to his colleague at Citi FM.

Zoe Abu-Baidoo, who received the images was also picked up as an ally after operatives from National Security stormed the premises of Citi FM at Adabraka. The duo were later released after questioning.

Kudah is said to have gone to the National Security premises to meet someone.

The journalist, who was waiting at the car park in the premises of National Security, reportedly began to film or take pictures at the restricted security area, where cameras are forbidden.

He allegedly captured vehicles at the car park, some of which belonged to staff of National Security and others are seized vehicles.
