SCHOOL authorities have confirmed that 136 students were abducted by gunmen in Niger State earlier this week.

Umar Idris, owner of Salihu Tanko Islamic School said on Thursday that some of the kidnapped students were as young as 5 years old.

Niger state government issued a statement Thursday putting the toll at 136 pupils missing.
